The Good, the Bad and the Regulatory

(in fairness there isn’t any ‘bad’, but we really liked the headline so left it in!)

Our busy start to 2021 show no signs of slowing down, with all the GRM teams working hard to support a wide range of developers and landowners.

New projects include largescale traditional low-rise residential developments, high rise residential developments and work for three hospital trusts. The specific services include trial pits, window sampling, rotary boreholes, soakaway testing, foundation inspection, plus detailed foundation design.

Richard Upton, Marketing and Sales Director at GRM commented: “We have definitely seen an upturn in the sector over that past few months, and this is reflected in our workload from both existing and new clients. There has also been a noticeable shift to longer term projects, engaging with a range of GRM teams and services. This collaborative approach delivers faster outcomes for the client and also improved commercial returns.”

The first quarter has also seen GRM renew a wide range of regulatory and trade association affiliations. This includes Membership of the British Standards Institution, CHAS accreditation, SSIP approved SMAS certification, and SMAS Worksafe accreditation. GRM are also involved with a number of other trade bodies and organisations, and are committed to supporting all initiatives that improve working practices within the construction sector.
