It has been 18 months since Geoff Beckett and Richard Upton became owners of GRM and assumed full responsibility for the leadership and day to day running of the business (see post from Nov 24: GRM Announce Change in Ownership).
Since then, GRM has continued to thrive and grow, with our teams supporting existing and new clients with a wide range of land development projects across the country.
This growth has been delivered by adhering to the core values that underpinned GRM’s success through the first 30 years of business, including:
- Always putting clients first.
- Delivering tailored solutions throughout the lifecycle of developments.
- Ensuring that every project provides a clear return on investment.
As expected, much of Geoff and Richard’s time has been absorbed at our head office in Burton on Trent, however, there have been several recent ‘sightings’ of the Directors in the field. And now Geoff has got in on the act, last week visiting a site in Leicestershire to review material for suitability in earthworks.
However, it hasn’t gone un-noticed that both Richard and Geoff ‘chose’ lovely sunny days to make their site visits – something not afforded to our field-based teams who work in all weather conditions!
Who knows, maybe we will see more Director level site visits this summer, before they once again ‘hibernate’ back in the office during the inclement winter months!
