Several members of the GRM team recently attended the first event hosted by MidLE: Midlands Land Events, which is a new initiative aiming to bridge the gap between the land and property industries.
The event was held at the prestigious National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire and was kindly sponsored by Construction Testing Solutions (who also invited GRM).
Over 50 industry professionals attended the event, which covered topics including emerging contaminants, remediation expectations, alternative to fossil fuels, software gaps and leadership. The presenters included industry professionals Paul Nathanail, Neil Hopkins, Amy Parekh-Pross, Judith Nathanail and David Hare.
Russell Hurcombe, a Senior Engineering Geologist at GRM, was one of the team who attended: “We were delighted to be invited to this inaugural event by Amy from Construction Testing Solutions. It is a great initiative and clearly aimed at facilitating better engagement and communication between the two sectors. We are keen to stay involved and support future events.”
