From the City to the Countryside: GRM Teams Travel Far & Wide Supporting Land Development Projects

We always say that no two projects and no two days are ever the same in our sector, and that has definitely been the case this summer! And to be honest that is the way we like it!

Over the past few months our GRM teams have been working up and down the country from Teesside to Tring, and across it too from Shrewsbury to Boston.

We’ve been working on and in factories, farms, fields, RAF bases, hospitals, a former MoD fuel depot, and a wide range of housing developments too.

Our ability to provide an extensive range of services means we are perfectly placed to support clients throughout the lifecycle of their projects. Services that we have provided over the summer include:

  • Desk studies and associated site walkovers
  • Site investigations including window sampling, trial pitting, rotary and cable percussion drilling
  • Probe drilling for coal mining risks
  • Gas membrane and clean capping verifications
  • Foundation Inspections
  • Earthworks supervision
  • Coal Mining and Mineral Risk Assessments
  • Gas monitoring and water sampling
  • Soakage testing and long-term water monitoring (with continuous monitoring data loggers deployed)
  • Hydrogeological Risk Assessments for proposed cemeteries

If you have any development or construction projects, then please get in touch to find out how we can help save both time and costs. Please use your main point of contact at GRM or for new enquiries email richard.upton@grm-uk.com or call 01283 551249.
