Residential housing is just one of the sectors for which we regularly provide services, with projects ranging in size from small changes or additions to individual dwellings up to large multi-phase strategic land development initiatives.
One ongoing example is the major Lubbesthorpe housing development project south of Leicester Forest East, encompassing over 4,000 homes and various community facilities. The development is expected to be completed over the next decade and will include a district centre, local centres, schools, a health centre, and a business centre. The development is being delivered by various housebuilders including Davidsons, Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes, and Redrow Homes.
GRM have already worked on several of the development parcels for two of the developers, with works including site investigation, foundation design, foundation inspections and validations. Over the last few weeks some of our teams have been back to undertake window sampling, trial pitting and soakage tests for the latest phase of development.
As you can see from the pictures, the teams have been blessed with lovely weather over the last few weeks too, which makes the field-based aspects of our job even more enjoyable!
