GRM Teams Proud of Ongoing Involvement in Regeneration of Blackpool’s Talbot Gateway

Many of our articles include pictures of fields, mud, and various pieces of exploratory equipment. This is understandable given that we typically get instructed by clients during the early stages of land development projects.

However, our end-to-end support for developers means we frequently stay involved and provide additional services throughout the full life cycle of the project.

This has very much been the case with Blackpool’s Talbot Gateway regeneration project, which includes their new Civil Service Hub, a £100m, 215,000 sq ft, highly sustainable workspace which will be home to over 3,000 civil servants.

GRM have been providing a range of services for this project for the past three years, including:

  • Material Management Plan (MMP).
  • Waste classification and assessment.
  • On-site supervision for earthworks supervision.
  • Geotechnical and chemical testing (soils and groundwater).
  • Earthworks Completion and Validation Report.
  • Ongoing advice and technical guidance.

It is always great to see a finished development, and one of our team had the opportunity to do this on a recent visit to the site. The impressive new Civil Service Hub is the focal point of the wider £350m regeneration of Blackpool’s Talbot Gateway, and our GRM teams continue to supply a range of services for other developments within this wider development project.
