Back in March, we took the decision to remain operational during the initial phase of lockdown, primarily because of client demand including essential projects for several hospital trusts. While some of the team were furloughed, other staff worked on a range of project components that could be delivered in compliance with social distancing. These included:
1. General design work, much of which can be undertaken by our office-based staff, who are currently working from home.
2. Soakaway testing for surface water drainage systems and designs, and or as part of flood risk assessments.
3. Site investigation to confirm geo-environmental conditions to assess development risks, discharge planning conditions and aid foundation design.
We can now report that our workload at GRM continues to grow as most construction projects resume. We are therefore bringing staff back to support client projects and undertake additional services that are now feasible with the recent changes in government advice.
The team is here to help if you need any immediate or future work or quotes. Please get in touch either through your main point of contact or from the list below. Alternatively, you can call our main office on 01283 551249.
