Congratulations Jenny

Rifle-Paper-Co-Graduation

Everyone at GRM would like to offer congratulations to our Jenny Campion on receiving her PhD in Creative Writing from Keele University (https://www.keele.ac.uk/). Jenny is one of four Keele graduates now working for GRM, alongside Russell Hurcombe, Charlotte Campion and Amy McKenna. And no, Jenny is not the chief author of our Phase I and Phase II reports!

Over the last year or so, Jenny has been working part-time with GRM to help sort and arrange our library and archive, whilst completing her novel – How not to get pregnant (a novel based around growing up in Devon during the foot and mouth crisis), which was also shortlisted for the Bridport Prize, which is an international creative writing competition.

Following submission of her PhD, Jenny joined GRM full-time. Jenny’s duties cover a number of areas including coordination of validation testing and reports, PQQs and marketing. Outside of GRM Jenny has helped with teaching undergraduates at Keele University and is currently working with Spark Young Writers (https://www.writingwestmidlands.org/young-writers-faqs) assisting with writing workshops for children aged between 3 and 11.

Well done Jenny and we hope to see your novel on the bookshelves soon.
