Bermuda Park, Nuneaton. Adding a million pounds of value. Our solutions for this actively gassing landfill site enabled our client to develop an additional three acres, worth at least £1M.
Coalite Works. Chemically contaminated ground. A very poor 45 ha former fuel plant and chemical factory was investigated and risk-assessed, in a very cost-effective way.
Irthlingborough. Developing on deep made ground. Design solutions for re-modelling a very deep former quarry with numerous constraints resulted in a high quality development, cost savings and an increased acreage of developable land.
Barrow on Soar. Site supervision service saves client £50,000. Incorporating GRM's site supervision team into the client's management structure on site enabled close supervision and control of foundation costs.
Papworth. Bioremediation successfully protects end-users and environment. GRM's extensive knowledge and detailed planning identifies principal remedial option for challenging site, protecting end-users and the environment.
Norton Lindsey. GRM's expertise enables former landfill site to be granted planning permission
Developer enlists the help of GRM to investigate former County Council landfill site to develop a remedial strategy that would render the site safe for development.
Tipton. Abandoned mineshafts located and filled. Previous investigations into the location of mineshafts on the site of a former steel works had proved unsuccessful. GRM successfully located four of the five mineshafts and proved beyond doubt that the fifth shaft did not exist.
Black Heath. GRM transforms challenging site into successful development. GRM turned around a site that was highly contaminated and posed a serious risk to the health of its future residents.
Stafford Road, Wolverhampton. Site cleaned up after 4000 litre fuel leak. GRM’s expert advice helped a site which many previous buyers had rejected, become a very profitable development
Brook Street, Wymeswold. GRM's multi disciplinary teams provided the complete consultancy package from site investigation and contamination assessment through to structural and infrastructure design and supervision.
Chapel Street, Donisthorpe. GRM's expertise, particularly the structural design, help make this residential development an award winner.
Factory Road, Hinckley. GRM's multi disciplinary approach led to the conversion of a factory building into apartments and the construction of new houses. Structural advice was important to ensure that the conversion was successful and did not conflict with the new build. The infrastructure team designed the sites foul and surface water drainage systems. This was challenging due to location of the existing sewers and restrictions on changing site levels.
